Thank you for taking the time to learn more about GBC. Other parts of this site detail our beliefs and philosophy, but here are six quick distinctives:

We believe that sermons should come from the pastor's own diligent study of God's Word. They should be passionate, worshipful, practical, and radically God-centered.

We believe that pastors are not corporate marketing directors, but shepherds who have been entrusted by God with a flock of His people.

We believe that church is a place of deep relationships, strengthening fellowship, and accountability - not a place where you can slip in and out anonymously.

We believe that worship isn't a show you watch or a concert to attract the unsaved - worship happens when God's people sing to the Lord together.

We believe that church growth is about sharing the gospel and making disciples.

We believe that children's programs are not just baby sitting, but God-centered Bible study that is age-appropriate. We also believe that any parent should be allowed to keep their children with them in our services.
